This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes the policies of Cattron North America, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Cattron,” “we,” or “us”), on the collection, use and disclosure of information relating to you, your computer, or your device and that enables your identification (“Personal Information”) that we collect when you use our website located at www.cattron.com (the “Service”). This Policy does not apply to information that we collect offline, such as over the telephone or in person. By accessing or using the Service, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to the same, please do not access or use the Service. 

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time without any prior notice to you and will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Service. The revised Policy will be effective beginning 180 days after the revised Policy is posted in the Service and your continued access or use of the Service after such time will constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We, therefore, recommend that you periodically review this page. 

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT: 

We collect and process the Personal Information that you voluntarily provide through the Service, which includes:

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION: 

We use Personal Information submitted by you or otherwise collected through the Service for the purposes described in this Policy and as otherwise described to you at the point of collection. We will use the Personal Information that we collect about you specifically for the following purposes: 

  • Requests, Inquiries, and Applications:  We may use your Personal Information to process, evaluate, and respond to your requests, inquiries, and applications.  
  • To Process Orders:  We may use your Personal Information for purposes of fulfilling orders and ensuring delivery.

  • Legal Requirements, Industry Standards, and Contractual Obligations:  We may use your Personal Information for complying with and enforcing applicable legal requirements, industry standards, and our contractual obligations.

If we want to use your information for any other purpose, we will ask you for consent and will use your information only upon receiving your consent and then, only for the purpose(s) for which grant consent unless we are required to do otherwise by law. 

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION: 

We will not transfer your personal information to any third party without seeking your consent, except in limited circumstances as described below: 

  • Affiliates: We may share your Personal Information with our affiliates for purposes consistent with this Policy. Our affiliates will be bound to maintain that Personal Information in accordance with this Policy.  
  • Agents, Consultants, and Service Providers:  We may share your Personal Information with individuals or companies that we hire to provide services to us, such as website hosting services. 
  • Business Transfers:  We may transfer your Personal Information to an actual or prospective successor in the event of an actual or proposed business sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, bankruptcy, liquidation, or reorganization.   
  • Legal Requirements:  We use and disclose Personal Information as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (i) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (ii) to comply with legal process; (iii) to respond to requests from public and government authorities, including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; (iv) to enforce our terms and conditions; (v) to protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates; (vi) to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or others; and (vii) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain. 
  • Passively Collected Information: We may also share Personal Information as described in our Cookie Policy

SOCIAL MEDIA PLUG-INS: 

We use social media plug-ins from social media networks like Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, which are labeled on our Service with the well-known symbols of the respective social network. If you actively interact with these buttons, data will be transmitted to the social networks. In this case, your web browser starts a connection to the respective social network’s servers. By clicking on the buttons, you agree that your browser will produce a link to the respective social network’s servers and transmit usage data to the respective operator of the social network and vice versa. We have no influence upon the nature and extent of the data that is then gathered by social networks. In order to understand how those social networks use and disclose your Personal Information, please review the privacy policies available on the websites of those social networks. 

COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES:

RETENTION OF YOUR INFORMATION: 

We will retain your personal information with us for 90 days to 2 years after users terminate their accounts or for as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as detailed in this Privacy Policy. We may need to retain certain information for longer periods such as record-keeping / reporting in accordance with applicable law or for other legitimate reasons like enforcement of legal rights, fraud prevention, etc. Residual anonymous information and aggregate information, neither of which identifies you (directly or indirectly), may be stored indefinitely. 

YOUR RIGHTS: 

Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to access and rectify or erase your Personal Information or receive a copy of your Personal Information, restrict or object to the active processing of your Personal Information, ask us to share (port) your Personal Information to another entity, withdraw any consent you provided to us to process your Personal Information, a right to lodge a complaint with statutory authority and such other rights as may be relevant under applicable laws. Do note that if you do not allow us to collect or process the required Personal Information or withdraw the consent to process the same for the required purposes, you may not be able to access or use the services for which your information was sought. 

Our Service currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals and operates as described in this Policy whether or not a DNT signal is received.  

LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SITES: 

The Service may contain links to other websites for the convenience of users in locating information or services that may be of interest. If you access a third-party website from a link on the Service, any information you disclose on that website is not subject to this Policy. It is possible that these links may be used by third parties or others to collect personal or other information about you. Cattron is not responsible for the privacy practices of such websites, advertisers, or third parties or the content of such websites. Cattron does not control these third parties’ use of cookies, collection of information, or how they manage such information. It is solely your obligation to review and understand the privacy practices and policies of these other websites, advertisers and any third parties. 

SECURITY: 

The security of your information is important to us and we will use reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration of your information under our control. However, given the inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security and consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.

CPRA Privacy Notice

This CPRA Privacy Notice describes Cattron North America, Inc.’s (“Cattron,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, sale and sharing of the personal information of California residents (“Consumers”), describes the rights of Consumers under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CPRA”), and explains how Consumers may contact Cattron to exercise those rights. This policy only applies to the personal information of Consumers (i.e., California residents). 

Please note that this CPRA Privacy Notice does not apply to personal information collected and processed about Cattron employees.

Right to Know 

You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell or share. Specifically, you may request that we disclose to you the following: 

  1. The categories of personal information we have collected about you. 
  1. The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected. 
  1. The business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling or sharing personal information. 
  1. The categories of third parties with whom we disclose personal information. 
  1. The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you. 

You may also request that we disclose to you: 

  1. The categories of personal information that we have sold or shared about you and the categories of third parties to whom the personal information was sold or shared, by category or categories of personal information for each third party to whom the personal information was sold or shared. 
  1. The categories of personal information that we disclosed about you for a business purpose and the categories of persons to whom it was disclosed for a business purpose. 

Right to Request Deletion 

You have the right to request that we delete any personal information about you which we have collected from you. If it is necessary for us to maintain your personal information for certain purposes, we are not required to comply with your deletion request. If we determine that we will not delete your personal information when you request us to do so, we will inform you and tell you why we are not deleting it.  

Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing of Personal Information 

You have the right to direct a business that sells or shares personal information about you to third parties not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, we do use cookies for targeted advertising purposes. The collection of data through certain cookies for our targeting advertising purposes may be considered a “sale” and is considered “sharing” under the CPRA. To opt-out of having your information sold and shared with third-party website analytics and digital advertising service providers for this purpose, visit our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” web page.  

Right to Correct Inaccurate Personal Information 

You have the right to request a business that maintains inaccurate personal information about you to correct that inaccurate personal information, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of the processing of the personal information. 

Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information 

You have the right to direct a business that collects sensitive personal information about you to limit its use of your sensitive personal information (1) to that use which is necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average consumer who requests those goods or services; (2) for certain business purposes; and (3) as authorized by the implementing regulations of the CPRA. Cattron does not collect sensitive personal information. 

No Discrimination 

You have the right not to be discriminated against because you exercised any of your aforementioned rights.  

  1. How to Submit a Request 

To exercise the rights described above, you must submit a verifiable request to us. You can do so by completing our Privacy Request Form here or by emailing us at request.na@cattron.com.  

To submit a verifiable request, you will be asked to provide certain information to help us verify your identity. The information we ask you to provide to initiate a request may differ depending upon the type of request, the type, sensitivity and value of the personal information that is the subject of the request, and the risk of harm to you that may occur as a result of unauthorized access or deletion, among other factors. 

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by providing the agent with signed written permission to do so. 

If we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request, we will not be able to comply with your request. We will inform you if we cannot verify your identity or authority. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
